Station # 9... "Cat Walk" by: Vadim Bora |
| Several bronze cats serve as symbols of the catwalks that once connected the wall that gives the Wall Street it's name, to the buildings which front College Street and Patton Avenue. The wall was constructed at the base of Battery Park Hill, which rose to the north. Those catwalks or footbridges crossed an alley from the wall to the shop entrances located on the second level of these buildings. The wall and valley may be viewed across from the parking garage. |
